When a school division wellness consultant and a weight-neutral wellness researcher asked our team to collaborate on a resource for families, we were thrilled!
The concept was to create a resource that teachers, schools, and school divisions could share with families about how educators approach food and nutrition education to best support learning, growth, body image, and positive relationships with food.
These ideas align with the way our team thinks about food and nutrition education. We want to provide children and youth with opportunities to foster a relationship with food and their bodies that serves them throughout their life.
